Pablo Picasso once said, "Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life." It is no surprise, then, that many people around the world use art as a means to approach emotional and mental health – or to simply find greater peace and meaning in their lives. The Art of Healing is an affirmation of the transformative power of art as a meditative practice. Through creative exercise, this course will provide a source of awareness, communication, and self-insight to guide your path of restoration and healing.
*This workshop is a lecture on Lauren's personal experience with mindful art therapy + utilizing art as a mindfulness practice. This is not an art therapy session. If you are seeking an art therapist please contact: The American Art Therapy Association*
